It also increases muscle strength (which includes heart strength), lowers bad cholesterol and lowers blood pressure. It also improves memory, boosts mood, relieves stress, decreases depression and anxiety. Having a routine and chossing exercises you enjoy both increase the chance that you will follow through with your plan.
