Challenge #23- Play a sport
What sports do you enjoy (if any)? It doesn’t matter what it is, just do it. If you do not have your own equipment there are often community centers open to the public which will allow you to use their facilities. For example, I am a big fan of basketball and my community has a recreation center open to the public and every once in a while I’ll go up and just shoot around for a bit.
Benefits- It can become part of a fitness regime or even some occasional physical activity. It can decrease the risk for various disease , enhances your balance and boost memory. Sports (organized or not) have been shown as well to have a positive impact on depression, anxiety and adhd; it also relieves stress, boosts mood and increases sleep quality.
