Today is the beginning of a new month and the beginning of a new challenge. Today’s the beginning of our 31 day self care challenge.
Challenge #1- Unplug for one hour
Today’s challenge is very similar to day one in the relationship challenge. Unplug- that means no phone, no computer, no tablet, television, no electronics of any kind. Do this for one hour. What can you do in it’s place? Read for fun, Call someone (landlines are allowed in this challenge), play games with someone or just sit outside and enjoy the beginning of spring.
Benefits- Constant streams of technology can lead to increased anxiety levels even if you don’t notice it at the moment. Taking a technology break can give your brain time to rest and recuperate.
Extra challenge- Make your techno-free time a daily routine.
