expanding your comfort zone

For this week’s personal development post I have a challenge for you. 

Get out a notebook, pen and just quickly jot down 4 things you would like to do but have never had the nerve to try. For instance mine are:

Downhill skiing


Run a marathon

Take a dance class

Join an exercise class

Choose 4 random dates over the next year maybe one day per quarter (jan-march; april-june; july-sept; oct-dec) and plan to JUST DO IT.

Downhill Skiing– January 31st

Run a Marathon– August 2nd

Take a dance class– May 5th

Join an exercise class- November 1st

When the day comes just do it, don’t think, don’t psych yourself out.

If you follow those three steps then this time next year you would have done four new things that expand your comfort zone.
